Honor is key,
Bravery expected.
To defend could mean your life.
But that is the life of a Knight.
Safety of the ruler comes first.
These figures..
smothered in armor,
wielding a sword,
holding a shield as they shield.
What stature they hold
to mask the terror behind their eyes.
Your being could be gone one day,
as the King gets another.
But that is the life of a Knight.

I have always felt I was a knight in a past life. I feel like I as braver and honorable 🙂 I may also be very interested in the Arthurian Legend!
